Introduction

Vodafone app has 240 million active users and entering fitness was the natural next move.

We designed Vi Fit as something else entirely, a gamified layer on top of existing trackers, an ecosystem where brands, users, and community interact around movement.

Subconscious

Fitness Partner

We designed a gamification system that learns a user's current activity level and sets step goals they can actually reach.

Designing for Momentum

To make people move more, we integrated Vi Fit into iOS system UI. Dynamic Island and Live Activities meant the app only appeared when it mattered visible when you're moving, invisible when you're not.

A subconscious momentum builder that helps users become more active when they're already active.

Rewards

A reward is visible before every checkpoint. Close enough to feel within reach, early enough to keep you moving toward it. When you get there, something real from a partner brand unlocks.
